Hi,
Ive taken to hanging out on the Warrior’s forum quite a bit lately, mostly just reading and watching.
It seems a lot of people are concerned with getting high rankings in the search engines (read Google), and building a responsive list is secondary to the majority.
Now I’ve never been that concerned about search engine rankings since I put all my efforts into list building.
It just seems to me, that having a good list is the easiest way to market your products because you spend all that time getting indexed and ranking high in Google, then the next thing you know - you’re back on page 591!
Sure, I love free traffic as well as the next man, but why go to all the trouble of writing articles to post in some directory, building Squidoo pages, setting up hundreds of blogs and all, when an email to your list will get you tons of traffic to any product you want to offer?
Of course, I can see if you’re selling Viagra, or the latest penis enlargement scam, you might not want to email your list about that, but otherwise, why go to all the trouble?
Seems to me that all the article writing and blog posting would be better spent grooming your list instead of trying to satisfy the whims of Google and Ezine Articles.com.
Maybe I’m missing something important here.
Leave a comment and let me know what you think. This is a “do-follow” blog.
Thanks, and have a great day.
Michael
